Handling unit logs
Handling unit logs show the history of actions performed on boxes, pallets, and containers.
Use this page when you need to understand what happened to a handling unit: who created it, where it was moved, when it was sealed, or why it is no longer in the expected place.
Available Filters
Section titled “Available Filters”You can filter by:
- Start date and End date;
- handling unit code;
- user;
- action.
Filtering by code is useful when you scan or copy the code of a box, pallet, or container and want to see only that unit’s history.
Tracked Actions
Section titled “Tracked Actions”The log can include these actions:
| Action | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Created | The unit was created in Putaway WMS. |
| Deleted | The empty unit was deleted. |
| Opened | The unit was reopened for work. |
| Sealed | The unit was closed to protect its contents. |
| Unsealed | The unit was reopened after sealing. |
| Moved | The unit changed location. |
| Added | The unit was added to a location or structure. |
| Removed | The unit was removed from a location or structure. |
What The Table Shows
Section titled “What The Table Shows”Each event shows:
- date;
- warehouse;
- handling unit;
- source location;
- destination location;
- action;
- user;
- reason, if available.
Dates are displayed in the browser’s local format. On mobile, the same information is shown as cards instead of a wide table.
- Use this page for audit and investigation, not for changing units.
- If a unit appears to be in the wrong place, also check product Traceability.
- If the issue is about stock inside the unit, also check Stock, not only the unit log.
